S7-1500 instead of S7-400 ( from experties )

Know i want to know that S7-1500 automation system can to be instead of S7-400? I mean can S7-1500 provide S7-400 functionality and more for our automation system? Because S7-1500 wil be instead of S7-400 in nearly future. Thanks best regards Tekabi

Anyways programming structures in S7-1500 are different from S7-400. Study the Programming Guideline for S7-1200/1500 to see the new structure.
