s7-1500 PLC CPU in STOP state

I am knew to PLC and HMI stuff. so i am facing lots of problem. and would be asking stupid questions. Recently i took out the memory card from a fucntioning PLC system to see what is on it, the PLC stopeed working. And when i put it back the it would start the normal thing it was doing earlier and is displaying STOP( on the small PLC display) " PLC not in Run mode" Can anyone please tell me how make it back into Run state please.

Memory Cards cannot be removed without first removing power to the PLC and the 1500s need the Memory Card to function. That's why it doesn't go back to RUN mode. Best regards! Luckily the card isn't damaged. Thank you for sending the links, I was planning on formatiing the card as well . Which i wont now thanks to the links you have sent, I did manage to get the PLC running again through TIA protal. This is all new to me. Thank you for the help
