Hello, I would recommend to use the dimension tool SIZER: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&idxsrc0=step7&nav0=tree&nodeid0=10803975&lang=en&siteid=csius&aktprim=0&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW&objid=10804987&treeLang=en It's really a great tool to dimension a motor, cable, controller... You start with the mech. data and cycle and the result ist torque and speed. Afterwards you can select a suitable motor. Without that tool it's very time expensive. Some useful formulas: M = J x alpha with M = torque, J = inertia, alpha = angular acceleration alpha = delta n / delta time You have to translate the linear weight to the rotational inertia depending of the ball screw ratio. Through the vertical axis you have to consider the torque through the mass but also through the gravity. I think some generally formulas you could also find via web / google. |
With best regards, |
