we have WinCC Unified Runtime PC Scada on our main control room, but as there are many other systems to monitor we need some sound alarm which notifies the operator to take a closer look at this particular Scada screen.

Our supplier says that audible alarms are not supported on Unified RT, is it really so?.

I have been tried the script from support  but not succesfull. Aplication is started only in Task Manager but no GUI.  Can you give advice what I am doing wrong? 

Every application does the same thing… notepad, vlc… 

WinCC Unified PC  v19, Windows 10.

thank you for your reply once more. I can start VLC with GUI or without GUI.

 I don't need GUI for playing audio. 

This si working in WinCC Unified v20. This script doesn't work  for me in v19. 

HMIRuntime.Device.SysFct.StartProgram("C:\\Program Files\\VideoLAN\\VLC\\vlc.exe", "C:\\Beep.wav -R" , 0, false, undefined);

Script is starting system process. 

Could you give me advice  how I can stop started system process vlc?
