Hello guys!

A few days ago I set up my Siemens IOT2050. I tried installing git via apt, when I stumbled upon a problem. 

Neither apt update nor apt install are working.

As you can see I tried adding new sources. I configured both eno - ports to have a static IP-address and netmask. I am able to ping these sources, but I cant seem to use apt. is there anything I can do to resolve this issue?

Neither the Industrial OS nor the example image are Ubuntu-based. You need to use Debian source - which are actually pre-configured already.

But the actual error message indicate that your device has no Internet access. Check that first.

What sources can I use?

How do I check if I am connected to the internet? As I said i can ping anywhere in the world. Is there any other way?

I set the IOT up so that eno1 has a static IP-Adress. I also entered the google DNS servers in the resolv.conf file.

I am able to ping to google.com as well as the apt sources.

Sorry for the late reply.

Today I tried your fix and set up the connection via nmtui. After a reboot I was actually able to execute apt update. However now I do not have a static IP adress even though I set one up in nmtui. Is there any way to fix that too?
