We have the same issue in version 3.2.

The module ftdi_sio.ko is not part of the build version you get from Siemens. It looks like that the kernel has to be rebuild. In v2.1.1 it was part of the image you got from Siemens.

To rebuild the kernel is theoretically possible but we are a little bit afraid to end up with a non working version if we use the standard debian sources.

Provides Siemens some additional information how to handle this issue?
