Hi, I've been given a project that someone else has designed and left me to configure. Unfortunately they are not contactable for a few days so I was wondering whether anyone would be able to tell me if this topology (see attachment) is even possible? Is it possible to use 4 X204-2's (FW5.2) in a redundant ring using the fibre ports, with 3 of the switches also hosting their own ring using ports 1 & 2? ((Please attached pdf of the topology I'm trying to explain) I'm using TIA V14 SP1, in the properties of the switch it look like I can only configure one MRP ring? It can be either the client of the fibre ring or the master of it's own ring, not both? Is that correct or am I missing something? Thanks in advance Rich Attachmentscanned-20180119115737.pdf (125 Downloads) |
