I have downloaded the Simatic S7 App for my android but i can not connected between my siemens PLC 1200C and IPAD

my PLC has ip 192.168.178.060

i have also put in a username and password

when i select the plc in the app he can not connect

What do i wrong?

Hello,

Enable the PLC webserver with valid username and password.

While connecting app with plc, you need provide same user name and password of webserver.

You can access variables from plc via symbolic address.

Make sure  that IPAD also having static ip address in same subnet of S1200 and wifi router.

on this moment i have the messages "Host requires authentication"

i have put in username & password admin & admin

maybe on the wrong place

i use TIA V13

After restarting everything, and installed the app again the problem was solved.

I try to do the same as you (configure a webserver name and a password)  but I don't see where you do that in the PLC  and no document help me

The main parts for this configuration are as below

1) Web Server Username and password

2) Symbolic variable name
