AOP and BOP

panthripu Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	AOP and BOP , what i understand after reading is similar ,however AOP has provision to upload and download the parameter set. 1)Am I right ? 2) How can i know that the OP what i have is AOP or BOP ? Is it by only nevigating throught up/down keys , If i find upload or download then its AOP? 3) How the can i keep the parameters saved , if i dont have AOP?

Hello, Let me say here the differences between BOP & AOPs. BOP:6SE6400-0BP00-0AA0"Basic Operator Panel": With the BOP, individual parameter settings can be made. Values and units are shown on a 5-digit display. A BOP can be used for several inverters. It can be directly mounted on the inverter or in a control cabinet door using a mounting set. AOP actually have different products: AOP:6SE6400-0AP00-0AA1"AdvancedOperatorPanel": The AOP enables MICROMASTER 440 parameter kits to be easily read and modified.In contrast to the BOP, the value and meaning of the parameters can be directly displayed as plain text in several languages by fast scrolling of the address. The AOP is directly plugged into the inverter, or communicates with the latter through a door mounting kit. Together with the “AOP door mounting kit for multiple iverters”, the AOP permits bus communication with up to 30 inverters at a transmission rate of 38 kbaud (RS-485, USS). For servicing purposes, the AOP furthermore supports the download and upread of complete parameter kits. AAOP:6SE6400-0AP00-0AB0"Asian AdvancedOperatorPanel": The AAOP is the Chinese version of the AOP operator panel. It has an enhanced display and supports the operating languages of Chinese (simplified) and English. CAOP:6SE6400-0AP00-0CA0"CyrillicAdvancedOperatorPanel": The CAOP is the Cyrillic version of the AOP Advanced Operator Panel. It supports the Cyrillic, German and English operator languages. Using software starter/ drive monitor, you can keep parameters saved on your PC.

panthripu Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Thanks a lot for the detailed discription. After studying a lot of post here , i orderd one AOP as in all my drives i have BOP. The intention was basically to backup the parameters of drives. I came to know we can save up to 10 sets of parameters in AOP. But when i tried to upload the parameter of drive 1 in to parameter set1 , in the first set itself it shows out of memory. So i can not save more sets of parameters. Now for the drive monioter , Can you please discribe how the drive monitor is connected to MM. I have connected to simovert but never with MM.

See also this thread: /tf/WW/en/Posts/17665 From manual: 􀂾 Memory Limitation The delivered AOP supports five European Languages of English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. *Due to internal memory* limitations the user should delete one of these languages in order to upread the specified ten parameter sets that can be held on the AOP. 􀂾 To Delete a Language Select “Language” from the top level menu, highlight the language you want to delete then press “Fn” and “↑”. *Please note that* *once a Language has been removed it cannot be restored.* Best regards, Wizard
