I have a question regarding creating DLL class objects for examples for globalcastings we create the class object like this :

Ser GC = CreateObject("ComosROUtilities.GlobalCastings")

For PAA tools, there are also other DLLs available and one such DLL is PABase.ConnectionManager. Now I want to create an object for one of the class "QueryExtender" that exists in the DLL. I am trying something like this :

Set Obj = CreateObject("PABase.ConnectionManager.Helpers.QueryExtender")

 But I am getting an error. I am attaching the screenshot as to how the class is defined and also the error.

Any help would be appericiated.

To use dll in scripts (via createobject()) the assembly must be COM visible & and also have a manifest (embedded or .manifest file) to define the public classes do expose

Since this dll probably is just referenced in another assembly i dont think it is com visible

you can check comos manifest files to find already existing manifest definitions
