DP/DP Coupler GSD File Missing

PlusMinuz Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi Everyone, Recently, I downloaded a GSD zip file from the Siemens website for DP/DP Coupler (Order No.: 6ES7 158-0AD01-0XA0), but there is no .GSD file in it! I also tried to install SI018070.GSD from the Release B zip file, but I got "the file contains syntax errors"... Help!!! Thanks, PlusMinuz

The confusion is that you are looking for a gsd file and you do not see it. But the third letter of the gs_ extension is simply the language used to write the Profibus node information. gsd means "default" (English) gse also means "English" gss implies "Spanish" A file in German would use the gsg extension Open each one with Notepad (or any text editor) to see the contents, you should be satisfied. You can actually use any one of the 2 files to integrate to your Profibus configurator. but you probably would like to see and understand the contents od the gsd file you load, so use the English one.
