error using GET function between S7 and S5

diogo.obpa Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, Iwishto use the GET function (SFB/FB 14) to get the data ofblockbetween asiemens s5 and a siemens s7-400. Myhardware isthe following: -----> s7-400 cp441 rk512 -----> s5-155 cp525 My problem happens when i call the block GET:it gives addressing error. How canI call the block GET (how to initialize both RD and ADDR parameters)in order to achieve my goal ? Thanks four your help, Diogo

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	Hi, Diogo! I never used S5, but in my opinion GET is extended S7-communication. It requires configuring with NetPro. But i don't think it's possible with S5 (at first glance). Maybe you can try some functions for serial connections..... P.s. I may be wrong^) P.p.s. There is special conference - Networks, maybe it's better to be posted there (don't post again! ask Moderator).
