Hello Jeff; To clear up a misunderstanding, RCOAX is a Siemens product for IWLAN: RCoax SIMATIC NET Industrial Wireless LAN The RCoax cables provide a reliable wireless connection without wear and tear particularly for conveyor systems and all types of rail-guided vehicles (overhead monorails, automated guided vehicles). Examples of the use of RCoax cables are as follows: ● Overhead monorail conveyors ● Automated guided vehicles (AGV) ● Cranes ● High bay storage systems ● Transfer lines ● Tool changer carriages IWLAN RCoax Cable: collection of documents on IWLAN I have no compoetence on wireless LAN applications, I hope someone with more experience from the forum can provide guidance. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello,Fafner. Q1 answer is your right. I misunderstanding in manual. because, my english problem.. If no use power splitter. is possible to use more Rcoax cable? because, my local Siemens person said. just... possible use to one ap is one line Rcoax...he said. My answer is No about your 1st question. Not use iPCF. data exchange speed is max 11Mbps. And my answer is Yes, about your 2nd question. The original AGV line is using "Infrared-communication" of japan brands. It is One Master PLC(mitsubishi) and Two Client PLC(two AGV), and we are change the communication line at this opportunity. so, your reply is very good for me. thank you very much. and If I have further questions ask for expert of forum. (wow.. very difficult... english.. too much...) Thank you and have a nice day. Jeff.
