You mau use Logo Module for communication purpose.

How do you establish a connection between a LOGO! 0BA7 and an HMI Panel?

I want thread starter"sparten"to answer the question I asked before: Ayman Elotaify Is it a real or Hypothetical question? ............ Because we the PLC should be already exist in the system as I have told before. You are assuming that we have to communicate between 2 HMI stations, and suggest to use PLC or LOGO! PLC. Are you would like to tell that it's not possible to communicate between 2 HMI stations without PLC? Well. If it's the case of thread starter and there is no PLC, What would you like to share between 2 HMI screens which doesn't have any tags coz there are no PLCs? For this reason, I wanted to know if it's a hypotheticalquestion or not.

Mike J Platinum Member Joined: 10/9/2007 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 1251 Rating: (115)	Hi all it seems it is not clear why the colleague wants this, but some 10 years ago we had exactly this situation: one WinCC was connected to S7 and another WinCC was connected to Sicam and this Sicam connected to Siprotec. There was no IEC103 drivers for WinCC or S7 at that time and they didn't want to install the Sicam drivers in the pure WinCC, so we connected both WinCC to actually send data from Siprotecs to S7 and commands from S7 to Siprotec. At that time we used OPC DA, but today I suggest you search for alternatives and try to connect the systems directly, not using HMI as gateways. Mike
