Hello, Am using CPU 416-2DP , I need to compare the PLC time and enable an output, is it possible in Simatic manager Step-7 v5.4. For eg: Every day i need to reset a counter value @ 6:00 am. It
is possible to use OB1X, but you need to config that in hw config. This
is the rare case you can use for small CPUs that don't support several
time of day interrupts. The other option, would be using SFC1 and read
system time and compare it with a set value. For this case, I suggest
reading the following topic: Schedule outputyou will reach the point to create a short pulse with series of comparators, when they prove that it is the exact time you want. I hope this helps, hdhosseini |

Hello, Is it possible to calculate the time for, how long an output was in on condition. This is a question with too many possible answers. There are several options that are explained in details in the following FAQ:
FAQ How can you measure the time? If the running time of your pumps is less than T#24d20h , you can use the SFB4(IEC Timer) as explained in EX#2.If your pump works longer, you need to work on a Date and Time for an appropriate data type.In that case check EX#6. I hope this helps, hdhosseini
