How to install STEP 7 V 5.6 on Windows 10 Pro (Build 1803)?

AutoGen_1169500 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi Recently I tried to install STEP 7 V5.6 on my laptop. I tried it for both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro (version 1803). I have downloaded the .exe file from the Siemens website (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109749428) and tried to install it. But after sometimes later it shows this error message "The following program could not be installed: Step 7 v5.6" and stop installation. But I have already installed TIA v14 (Trial version) on my laptop and its working fine. I don't know what is the problem with the STEP 7 v5.6? Do I need any other supporting files along with .exe file like TIA? or problem with the windows version? According to software requirements, step 7 v5.6 needs Windows 10 Pro (1607 version), but my one is the latest and its windows 10 pro (1803 version). I need your valuable advice to install the Step 7 v5.6. I look forward to getting your reply. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Step 7 5.6 & Windows 10.

However, he has the problem that the installation of STEP 7 V5.6 (Trial) is aborted with an error message. But he was able to install a trial version of TIA V14 without any problems.
