One last question:

I don't know how to use pointers to store the data readed from the slave.

So I want to use a block of MB_Client with different "data_prm" for each kind of read data. In this case, it would be 4 blocks, one for each type of registers (coil, discrete input, holding registers, input registers), but all the 4 blocks, reading data from the same slave.

Even in this case, do i not need to use the disconnect option? All four blocks must use the same connection ID and instance DB?

no, this isn't possible. Each MB_CLIENT block can connect to specific Server IP, means has own instance DB. Again, due free CPU resources you can create another connection ID and connect to other Server via this ID and next MB_CLIENT block. This is situation if you want use more MB_CLIENT instructions. If you can f.ex. make only 2 connections at all (no more free resources) and you need connect to more as 2 Servers, you need prepare own logic how to do this. Also you need collect data from one Server's memory areas via own logic (what have discussed before), so for first f.ex. collect coils, then change MODE, LEN and other parameters to other requested memory and start poll again and same with next memory in Server. If I don't understand clearly what you mean, pls ask...

Update: aaaah maybe you mean use more MB_CLIENT blocks with one instance DB (also to one Server) with different parameters only. You can try do this, each MB_CLIENT with DATA parameters defined as you need for other request from Server (coils, registers). Change REQ input of each Client to some unique bit memory to know what Client block execute. Probably you don't need disconnect because block use same instance DB and therefore connection. You differ only Client block with different DATA parameters as you need via that REQ bit. Hope this is what you want achieve, hope
