theInput Module 6ES7647-0KA02-0AA2isofficially not compatible with the IOT2050. It's specifically designed for the SIMATIC IOT2020 and IOT2040.

But the IOT2040 and IOT2050 using the same Arduino Uno R3 Pinout. Please refer to this pinout. I successfully tested the 10xDIs on a IOT2050 Advanced and Example Image:

Please keep in mind that it is officially incompatible - but it seems usable with the IOT2050. Besides that there is no cover for the IOT2050 with the 10x Input Module!

My tests were done with Example Image and not on an IOT2050 - It's not possible to 100% transfer these results to the MindConnect IOT2050 - I also don't know how these inputs can be handled in the Asset Manager.

As it is not officially tested an implementation would be on your own risk.

I was in touch with the colleagues from the MindConnect devices.

The only SIMATIC I/O Shield supported by the MindConnect IOT's (2040 & 2050) is the SIMATIC IoT2000 Input / Output Module 6ES7647-0KA01-0AA2. The SIMATIC IoT2000 Input Module Sink/Source 6ES7647-0KA02-0AA2 is not supported by the MindConnect IOT's (also not by the MindConnect IOT2040!). It's not possible to use it as it is not possible to configure it within the Asset Manager of the device.

The Input Module Sink/Source is only supported with a default SIMATIC IOT2020 and IOT2040 (and also running on IOT2050 as mentioned above - but not supported).
