Hi All,

Within a larger programm, I have to make a function that monitors the thermal breaker of a water pump.

The goal of this function is to reset the pump starts counter if the breaker can't be rearmed more than twice within 2 seconds, each manoeuver.

The program has to work as following:

• arm the breaker
• if after 2 seconds the breaker is still on, fine!
• if within 2 seconds the breaker goes off
• arm the breaker again
• if after 2 seconds the breaker is still on, fine!
• if within 2 seconds the breaker goes off again
• reset the starts counter

At a first glance, it looked to me to be simple but for any reason, maybe some gray matter leak in my head, I can't make it work for now.

If anyone had a good idea to point me into the right direction for start, that would be great ;-)

Unfortunately, I don't have any reset button.

Actually, my solution looked almost like yours (with edge detection) at the beginning but I cannot implement it because of this reset I don't find the way to make it automtic.

Unfortunately, it is close to the goal but it doesn't work as expected.

As soon as the breaker fails, the pump start counter will reset and it should not.

The pump counter must be reset only after two unsuccessful breaker's rearming.

...finally, I think I have something.

I just discovered and never used the "Edge triggered wiping relay" before.

Can't say that again from now on
