Hi

I have a Siemens Field PG M6 with Windows 10 (20H2) that has been working fine up until the 24th September.

The WIFI Adapter is not being recognized by Windows and shows in the Device manager.

I have tried the Intel Driver & Support Assistant and it just keeps showing that "Windows® 10 Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel® Wireless Adapters" needs to be installed. It goes through the procedure of installing then scans and it shows again.

The hardware ID is reporting as follows:

• Details
• Status: Error
• Device Id: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A370&SUBSYS_00008086&REV_10\3&11583659&0&A3

Hi.

Maybe you could unistall the wifi network adpater driver so Windows should reinstall it automatically after a reboot.

If that doesn't work maybe you should perform the restore to the Field PG.

Did you make any upgrade for your PG M6 to later version of windows 10? or If not then what caused the PG M6 to behave like this.

I'm also struggling with the same problem on my PG M6.

I even tried putting the wifi card into another laptop to be sure it's not an hardware issue, but in any other Laptop the WIFI-CARD  works without any errors.

Have you already found a way to solve this ?

I have also the same problem. To solve it, I have to power off the pg, take off the battery, pull again the battery and start again. In this case the card is ok in the device manager. I am using workstation 16 and it appears when i have to download program to cpu with the vmware via ethernet port. The wifi card is no more recognize and the only way is to take of the battery. I tried reinstall the driver from intel but not better. I have upgrade the firmware of the pg and it is really better. Before i had to take off the battery every 2-3 days. Now it is apprix once a week. Someone have the solution  ?

Same here, after upgrading with windows update to feature update 22H2, my bluetooth and wifi break. I downloaded the latest drivers from siemens, but it says there, Enterprise Edition 2021. LTSC2021.

Oh, i also did a bios update to latest, also from siemens website. (V260108)

So then i tried the intel program, it is finding the drivers, it installs the bluetooth, which then says: 

Intel program says all is ok. Then it installs the wifi, then it searches and find the wifi driver again, it installs and says it had repaired succesfully. Then it searches again, and find again the wifi driver. This goes on and on, but no bluetooth and no wifi what so ever. 

Could it be the that the feature update to 22H2 broke the driver support for the bluetooth wifi? And if so, when will there be support for it, i need the latest updates for my company. ( it is some sort of policy they have )

since the topic has still not been resolved since it was opened and I think that this question can only be answered by Siemens.. I suggest starting a SupportRequest so that Siemens knows about it internally and can remedy the situation.

Ah, ok, i thought this was the Siemens site, but i understand it is only a user forum. Good news though. As of today the bluetooth and wifi are working again. Windows updated a new driver, version: 22.160.0.4 for the bluetooth and 22.240.0.6 for the wifi. All seems working again. I can now get my wifi usb out and use the wifi of the M6 again. Just wanted to let you know.

Sadly the issue is back. No wifi and bluetooth with yellow questionmark. Intel telling me to go to OEM. But now with the new layout and all, im unable to find the download for the drivers.
