PC adapter USB A2 and S7 200: How to install the drivers for MPI?

AutoGen_9196078 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hiii all, I am having PC Adapter USB A2 MPI cable, but drivers are not installing in the laptop. Can anyone explain how can i install the drivers for MPI cable. Becasue of this i can't able go online with PLC S7200. Can any one help me? Please Urgent...... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from PC adapter USB A2 and S7 200.

What happens when you plug USB adapter into your USB port? Does it comes as a device with "?" mark in device manager or not, does some LED lights on adapter?

The entry is too old and also versions mentioned in this FAQ is too old but the same steps are still valid. Which configuration do you need for "PC Adapter USB" in conjunction with MicroWin and S7-200? Hope this helps.

Darius Platinum Expert Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 2957 Rating: (242)	Hi, The reason why I asked about if adapter was recognized in Windows Device Manager is that we are talking about PC adapter USB A2 which was released in 2013 and I really have doubts if it is still supported in MicroWin (quite old software). If there is no Step-7 installed in the computer (only Microwin) and Windows do not recognize adapter then I think it's simply not supported.
