hello sir, here, i have system having s7 400 redundant communication with allen bradley drive PF700 via profibus having 20-comm-p module on drive.. now i am replacing the PF700 drive by new PF753 drive having same 20-comm-p module.. but in PF700 datalink size having 16bits and in this new drive PF753 model having 32bit size of datalinks and not changeable option, so when setting same node address, its not getting in communication healthy. plc showing system fault. now how to change the configuration in PLC or make suitable to drive configuration.. please, help,

Hello Tej's; Rockwell provides this manual for the PowerFlex 20-750-PBUS as a DPV1 interface for the PF753. http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/750com-um004_-en-p.pdf On page 43 they provide a link to the GSD file for the 20-750-PBUS (you will be redirected to their newer Download site), but I do not have a Rockwell client account that would allow me to download and examine the contents of the gsd file. Are you sure the 20-Comm-P is functionnal with the PF753? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier Attachment750com-um004_-en-p.pd.pdf (85 Downloads) |

Dear Sir, As i have told, old system with PF700 drive is running now and its healthy on communication. we just replacing the PF700 by PF753 drive keeping same Profibus DP module 20-comm-P. so the GSD file for the same module will remain same. also GSD files configuration and datalink configuration is kept same. And in above discussion i have sent backup file of siemens PLC program, it will be easy to verify controller from your side. also between plc and drive one module is used which is showing error indication instead of plc. and also hereby i am sending you some screenshots of error indication. so, please check thanks.
