Problem Connection S7300 with S7 Protocol suite in Wincc 7.2

alessiodp Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I can't connect wincc 7.2 with my PLC (CPU 315). I ping the PLC and I can connect to PLC by Step 7 v5.5 SP2 but when I try to connect by wincc 7.2 (via S7 protocol suite) I can't. I looked the WinCC Channel Diagnosis and the state is "disconnected" with error 4116. The error says: Rack/Solt not correctly configured OR Number of maximum permitted connection in AS exceeded. But if you look in screenshot attachment, you see that rack/slot number is correct and number of connection not exceeded. Where am I wrong? Thanks a lot. Best regards. Maybe installation/reinstallation of SIMATIC NET could resolve this issue... Hope this helps. Regards.

alessiodp Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	But withtwo PLC S7-1200 in the same network, I can connect without problem, so I think taht SIMATIC NET v8.2is properly installed. Maybe I should try another version of SIMATIC NET? Best regards.

Double click on PLC and go to tab "communication" Here you will see 'S7 Basic Communication' with a number 12. Please reduce it to 5. (So you will release communicationresources on CPU) Download hardware configuration. And try to connect WinCC. (Let us know the result) Best regards, Wizard
