Hello, I have a problem with a watchdog between my DCS and my PLC S7-300. It was decided to change the type of confirmation to an "analog watchdog" by extracting the byte of the seconds from the DATE_AND_TIME variable and sending to my dcs for confirmation. However, this variable writes the seconds in BCD format, which causes a conflict with my reading method, as when requesting byte 5 from the DATE_AND_TIME register directly, it reads it as pure binary. I would like to know what solution I could have. First, I thought about taking only 4 bits at a time and converting them to decimal, but I don't know how to do it.
