I am having a problem uploading a backup from an OP-7DP.I just tried and tried and nothing changed [:cry:] I wanted to make a backup and I used ProSave V6.0SP2 with the(6xv1440-2kh32)cable.I use the RS232 IF1A jack on the OP. I switched on the PS and the program turned on.But ProSave says "Check Your interface/cables,etc." I noticed that the "Hold Token" led is lighted. Where is the problem? What should I do? I just wonder if the OP should be in RFT mode to back-up the program? p.s. I got similar fault while trying to upload with ProTool Lite V6.0 SP2

ThatSomeone Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	both I tried... but the problem was my ProSave version,actually.It was 6.0After I downloaded the version form Your link,v7.1 (~16MB) it worked just fine! Now I have this problem: When I connect the MPI s7<->PC cable directly to the CPU313, it works fine,but when I connect it through the Profibus Jack(rear side), no network nodes are availlable neither through Step7 nor Step7 lite. I want to write a program for the OP7 whichdisplays a WORD data cell (e.g. MW0) form the PLC's memory.I use a Profibus-DP cable.But when I have the value on the PLC(123.4),OP displays (000.0).There isa LED named "Hold Token" but it doesn't light up.Should it? How canI configure PLC and OP to work together? Do they sharethe same RAM as it is on C7 or not? Thanx in advance [:blush:]

Can you set a Bit in your S7 e.g. by button click in your OP??? What is the type of your variable in WinCC flexible, which is connected to your IO-field => have a try with another Data Type for this variablee.g. REAL Nemo

ThatSomeone Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	actually this is the problem... I don't have the OP<>CPU connection configured... I have a Profibus cable.I am using ProTool Lite V2.0 for the OP7 (NOT WinCC). I have done this on the C7-633P but here seems alot different... the OP7 showsvarious errors.But the OP is OK,we tested it with another firmware. How do I set up this connection?

Please post here a screen shot of the settings in your PC/PG interface, your configuration in HW-config and your TAGs in Protool/WinCC flexible. Have you already tried another MPI cable or any other panel? nemo
