Problem with cpu 414-4H

Danesh Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Hello, I use Step 7 V 5.2 and I want to program cpu414-4H , of cource I have installed HWupdates , but I cant find cpu 414-4h in hardware catalog and this message appear in HWconfig under Simatic H station , NO change can be made in this station. Regards. Danesh

Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi Danesly, It is easier to update to STEP7 V5.4 SP1 so you can also use the new IM 153-2 and also every newer card. With the HSP's that are possible from V5.2 and up there are some newer cards that are not in the Hardware Catalog of STEP7.

Hi Danesh, You have to update STEP7, see the next link how you can do that: STEP 7 V5.4 Released for Delivery When you order the right package {I think you need 6ES7810-4CC08-0YE5 }, you will get the version V5.4 SP1.
