Dear All,

I am facing problem of momentorirly bus fault in profibus network. There is multiple ET 200S connected to 416 CPU. The bus fault problem only comes in one of the ET200S momentarily. The PLC controls draw machine, thus, on bus fault, it gets stopped (it fault, it needs to be stopped). The problem is since long, 2-3 years, appearing randomly after few days. Following action taken till date,
1) Replaced profibus cable, connecter, checked shield & termination
2) Replaced ET 200S
3) Replaced I/Os one by one
4) Replaced base / power module

regarding your request about ET200S / PROFIBUS network:

1.) Please describe your bus fault problem more detailed: Is there a LED flashing on ET200S or CPU?

2.) Please send a drawing of PROFIBUS network, length of cables included.

3.) Please provide diagnostic data of ET200S and CPU as described in following FAQ:

4.) Please send archived STEP7 project file.

5.) Is there any more heating area near about your station? If yes then any cooling arrangement is there in side the panel? Roughly how much temp is there near about your station in which problem is occurring?
