In order to this, I have an analog problem with WinCC flexible 2008 SP3 integrated in a Step 7 project. Receive from Windows a blue screen with error on mup.sys.

Hi Max,

I'm not 100% sure but, I think this is an Windows issue regarding failure of some drivers. Also I believe, you could find more information regarding this issue within Windows' forums or but maybe here has already faced the same issue and can give you some hints.

Thanks for answered me. This happens when I do a slow organization block. The project is an integrated project built with S7 5.5 and WinCC flexible 2008 SP3. HMI project is converted, the popups with the status of copies of FC/FB/DB are done, but then there is a waiting moment of some seconds and then OS goes in BSOD.

I solved it. Restarting Simatic Manager as administrator, in the point where it usually crashed, is showed a pop up with process and function gone in error. Process was s7tgtopx.exe and the text reported u4filelength(). 

Simatic manager runs on a VMware VM vs 17 and the project are on a shared folder. 

So I thought to move source project and destination folder on local VM HD and the problem is been solved without error.
