Hello, the SSV104 supports only AUI interface. It is not possible to use the ITP Cable sub D 9 to 15. You need a switch or hub how converts from AUI to Twisted pair. I suggest using different solution. Using MINI UTDE on CP143 and using standard switch. MINI UTDE can be used only on end devices. Have a look to this manual chapter 6.5 SIMATIC NET Twisted-Pair and Fiber-Optic Networks CP143 supports only ISO Protocol. The PC Card needs a SIMATIC NET driver to get this ISO Protocol. The name of this driver is SOFTNET IE S7 (includes the ISO transport protocol for SIMATIC S5 PLC's). Programming interface on PC is OPC Server under Windows XP or newer. |

Is it an option to keep it simpel and just use a CP1613 (or CP1613 A2) card in the new Windows 7 PC, as replacement of the old CP1413 ? (I'm a bit confused why I didn't discover/check this option earlier?!) Thanks in advance, Berry |

Hello Berry, you are right. CP1613 has an AUI Interface on Board and supports the connection to SSV104. |
