Dear all, could please someone help

I have to connect S7-1200 via OPC UA (from OPCUA client) and read user data structure

First I haven't had no S7-1200 in hands and used for development an S7-1512SP. And I have read those data with no problem. Please note attached is a screenshot from UaExpert program. You can see the data I read is SIGNALS_2_SCADA.ARR, the UaExpert can read it you can see the only tag I read is my user structure and the "statuscode" is "Good"

When I obtained S7-1200 which is actually to be used in my project, I've just transferred my PLC program and my data structures over there. Of course, in this case I've created OPC UA server interface instance and attached my data block to it.

But the problem is UaExpert cannot even add my variable to monitoring, and returns error "BadAttributeInvalid", please note another screenshot.

I've also found and tried as well other two OPC UA clients, and behaviour is the same - all of them read correctly data from S7-1500 and cannot read data from S7-1200

More over, please note another screenshot from UaExpert, even when I just have connected to S7-1200 and read no tags, anyway UaExpert reports of periodical data read errors.

What do I do incorrectly? Can someone please help.
I have 17 pcs S7-1200 in my system and I was sure that it works, because it did work with S7-1500, but it appears to be non-working at all...

First, I don't have much experience with opc ua. 1200 has gained opc-ua recently, fw 4.4 iirc. My test revealed it was limited, no structs nor arrays. And you need a license, though it seemed to work without. Recently a new firmware 4.5 lifted some limitations. Check your firmware and maybe an update will workout for you. I wouldn't be surprised when the 1500 is much more capable. Good luck and share your experiences.

I tested it with S71200 and new FW V4.5.1

Here you can use structured Datatypes like UDT, Array or struct

It worked in my test with UA Expert

If you use TIA V16 or older and older FW like <=V4.4 then you have to live with this limitation. Here only the basic Datatypes are supported
