I have s7-1200 plc with comunication module cm1241 and RFID reader RF260R and my goal is using PtP (point to point) comands like send_PTP and others configurate and send RESET telegram to rf260r. But I am stuck. I done all what was writen to manuals. First with send_ptp I send 02 (Stx) in hex, this siginal start comunication, and after it I will need to receive 10 (dle) in hex, but I didn't. After this I try to send RESET telegram with dle, etx and bca signals - 0A 00 00 00 25 02 00 00 01 00 01 10 03 3E, but again nothing.

Can you post the configuration of the cm1241 send and receive setup? The send config is usually pretty easy. The receive is what is often tricky. Screenshots may be helpful. Also, the commands ...are they binary/hex or ascii hex? Is there a need to append cr/lf as a command terminator? For receiving, what is the same with every packet? Does it end in the same character, or just time without data? I worked on a drive protocol that needed 16#0D after every command and appended it to every response. Something else to try... If you can split the cable coming back and connect it to a computer, do you see the data on the wire from the reader?

Select the HW_ID from the drop down list and it should show the device name and it's value with be 269. Let us know if that helps.
