Okay, Do you just miss the additional data like the MLFB in the maintenance station or do you get no data at all from the switch? (If it's a test rack you could test this with removing the power supply of the switch). If you get an alarm from the device failure but not the data like MLFB, is there any message displayed when refreshing the data? In the configuration, there are not a lot of possible mistakes: For the X208, you should select the profile "Profile_SCALANCE_X200_Vxy.txt", for the X308-2 the profile "Profil_SCALANCE_X300X400_Vxy.txt" Community "public". (Btw. you find the supported profile in the Maintenance Station manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109759590) I just got a hint from a colleague when I talked with him about your problem. I used PCS 7 V9.0 SP1 for my test and I did not try it with V9.0 without SP. So it might be also possible that there was a problem with V9.0 and it got already fixed with the Service Pack. So if possible install the service pack and the updates. |

No you dot not configure the switches from the plant/terminalbus in the HW config. This is only done for switches in the fieldbus (PROFINET). Switches in the Plant/Terminalbus are integrated over OPC server (SNMP) like you already did. But as I wrote in my last post, you should really try to install the SP1 with the updates before you spend more time looking for a configuration mistake. Because there are always reasons for updates.. And a colleague told me that he had similar trouble with this with V9.0 without SP. Updates V9.0 SP1: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109756832 Updates V9.0 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109757236 |
