Get rid of the TCON command, you don't need it. I don't have it in my code and it is not required. |

Look up just a couple of posts to the one by automatizzando. Follow their link to just near the end and find their posted example. |

What I would like to add to the post is that I tried TM_MAIL few days ago and works ok. - smtp server with 25 port open - 1214 -1hg31- FW 3.0.2 - TM_MAIL v 1.1 - TIA v11 SP2 UP5 P.S. The eWONdevices looks very nice. Is it really so easy to use? Is it the sameas VIPA devices? |

As a Siemens distributor here in the U.S., I probably can't discuss Ewon devices in their forums. All I can say is, YES, they are VERY easy to use, and I have many customers using them to access their Siemens-based systems all around the world. I have no idea if they make them for VIPA or not. Frankly, I was hoping Siemens would simply "buy" Ewon and market them as Siemens products because they work so well with Siemens products via ethernet OR Profibus. ;) I also wish Siemens would some day allow us to modify the Port 25 address. I know somebody stated in this thread that it can be modified, but I don't believe that to be true at all. Good luck! |
