Sequenced inputs

Gloucesterman Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Does anyone have an application design for a defined set of sequence inputs.? I require a set of 4 inputs to be carried out in a predefined sequence say 1,2,3,4 all on and in that order only.......before Q1 will be triggered. Any help would be greatly appreciated Many thanks for your suggestions Gloucesterman

Axel Haar Posts: 13 Rating: (5)	There are many ways to solve this. A simple one should be to use SF-Function "RS". Connect I1 (to a RS which swicth) = M1 I2 & M1 (to a RS which swicth) = M2 I3 & M2 (to a RS which swicth) = M3 I4 & M3 (to a RS which swicth) = M4 M1 & M2 & M3 & M4 = Q1 You could add also positive edge recognition, but than it wouldn´t be possible to switch all at once, otherwise i would use that too. Furthermore you may use also negative edge recognition for each input to reaset the corresponding RS switch again, otherwise you have to figure out a global reset of all RS switches.

Here is an example that requires all inputs to come on in order (I1 - I4), and if at any point the order is broken you need to start from the beginning (I1).
