SIMIT initial value(default value)

Advanced Member Joined: 10/18/2011 Last visit: 11/3/2024 Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I didn't find a way to set initial value(default value) to an operator(eg. switch or digital input) in V5.4. In the manual of V7.0, it is said theinitial value(default value) can be set in the gateway interface. But in the "what is new in v7.0" document, it is not mentioned. Does it mean that I can set initial value to an operator in V5.4? Thank you!

SH12 Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Please note that a switch is a component (which you seem to be looking at in v5.4) while a gateway connects to the periphery (which you look at in v7). Please see appropriate manuals for detail, if the issue remains, please contact simit-hotline.industry@siemens.com(please have your license no. available)
