It seems the mail server replies to your plc that you use an invalid to: address. Eg. if you indeed used x@'example.com' in my example the mail server tells you that is an invalid address. Try using a known working email address. If you indeed get such a reply that means that port 25 is not blocked for you. Again try using your own email server first and wireshark to see what is really going on. |

Thank you again for your reply. I got it to work. So now, do you know how to assign attachments? |

Great! You probably should open a new topic for that but I can end your dream here: The ability to do attachments is very limited. I tried it once and after having a lot of trouble getting a simple email running I threw in the towel early. My advice: Look for alternatives such as logging and recipes and xfer using the web server or if that doesn't fit use tcp/udp comms. |

Good morning "enof". Yes, probably a new trhead but.. Do you think it could be a problem with the ISP blocking attachments? I get an 8015 status when trying attachments, and I have tested many different things from "Structs" to simple "Int". The text i get in the "Daten"- buffer in the TM_Mail Instance DB is: '---$R$LContent-Type: application/octet-stream; name="Attachment.bin"$R$LContent-Transfer-Encoding:BASE64$R$LContent-Disposition: attachment; filename="Attachment.bin"$R$L$R$L' |

No, likely not an isp/smtp server prob. I gave you an advice and "enof" has enough;) It seems you already have a data log. Pull it from the webserver, include the url in the mail or use email to push-automate a pull instead of trying to attach. Trust me (or not) , been there done that. In case you get anywhere with attachments please let us know but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the end of this topic. |

New question published by DanielLC is split to a separate thread with the subject TMAIL_C and TM_MAIL function blocks. Best regards |
