Where to find gsdml file?

kaSimen Regular Member Joined: 3/11/2006 Last visit: 10/20/2024 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	I'm looking for a file: GSDML-V2.3-Siemens-ET200SP-20140207.xml In the step7 v5.6 it does not exist. After upload from Simotion D435 there is lack of the file. Is it to old hardware?

After upload from Simotion D435 there is lack of the file. Is it to old hardware? You should update the HW catalog of the Step7, then you can find the ET200SP gateways from there. PROFINET IO -> I/O -> ET 200SP ->

Of course before I've updated hardware katalog.

Of course before I've updated hardware katalog. What is the part number you are trying to add to the HW config, if you can't find it in the HW catalog?

kaSimen Regular Member Joined: 3/11/2006 Last visit: 10/20/2024 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	At the screenshot "hardware_4.png" there is visible firest ET200SP witch has correct GSDL file and event the station's icon indicates that. But the next tree station has no GSDML files. It is visible on screenshot "hardaware_5.png". These tree stations need file: "GSDML-V2.3-Siemens-ET200SP-20140207.xml". These tree stations have standard ET200 icons indicates that these are ET200 station but witch they are exactly not known because they need GSDML-V2.3-Siemens-ET200SP-20140207.xml. During hardware compilation appears a message "...missing GSDML-V2.3-Siemens-ET200SP-20140207.xml file" for each tree stations. As I mentioned before despite updating the catalog of Step7 missing files are not present. So my question is where from can I take file "GSDML-V2.3-Siemens-ET200SP-20140207.xml" The number of the file "...20140207.." indicate that this file is older than files avilable in Step7 catalog. If so the next quastion is where from take old GSDML files. From the earlier Step7 version (My Step7 v5.6)??

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 11/7/2024 Posts: 22439 Rating: (3029)	Hi, why not change the GSDML Revision ? in your pictures you can easy switch to one of the listed GSDML Revisions for each IO-Device, after that it should be possible to compile the project without error.
