Hi. Please take a look into attachement. I have strange information about "connection resources has been reached" but I did not configure any connection in my system yet. I know that system inform me also about all connection resources available but I want to know why this warning appears? And second question is: why option "one way" communication is not available? I have S7 communication configured with one active and one passive (I heard that active is a master, and passive is a slave...). Regards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

hi Basketballer, one-way-connection just means that this connection is configured only in this PLC. Because Siemens blocks need an connection-ID to refereing the connection to send or receive with, you can only operate with this connection from the PLC where the conneciton is build. The other PLC is just server for PUT/GET. So the other PLC could be accessed without any engineering in its project. this is only possible with S7-connection. Have a look to this FAQ(point 7): How you configure a connection in the TIA Portal?hope this helps, regards |
