bzykus Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	I'm looking for advice. I need to connect a tag (MD 4) from STEP7 - PLCSIM to WinCC flexible 2005. I know that this is posible, but I don't know how to do this. If the order of install software is immportant? I've install 1. STEP7 5.3 2. WinCC 2005 3. SP3 for STEP7 5.3

(It easier to checkaconnection to the PLC) Checkthe Adress under "connections". Did you get a fault/system message? => Make a alarm windows in the HMI project and look what could be happen. Did you have a connection via CP5611 from your PC to a nother device? (Perhaps to a PLC via Profibus) Ifyes, then disconnect this. Download the PLC Hardware to the PLC SIM again (Before, make a MRES at the PLC SIM)

bzykus Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi! Thanks for Your answer. I need to connect PLCSIM to WinCC via MPI. I have WinCC integrated in Step7. I've S7-300 station and HMI (for PC) and I can't connect it. Could you write some instruction in steps, how to configurate (connect) tag from PLCSIM (in example MD 4 - real) to HMI (IO_field). I have error Error : No connection for PLC "\Step7\try_HMI\SIMATIC 300(1)\CPU 315" found!

(PLC_SIM.gif) Are the PLC in "Run"? In flexible look to flexible "gif". When there are all OK, then you shout get a conncetion to PLC SIM. Maybe you have a installation problem. (Deinstall PLC SIM [:(]) and install it again) Check the PG/PC Interface (I think, it shout not be stand on "PC internal") Sorry, but this ia all what i can do. I'm student and I'm writing program for University and there is no profibus module (only S7-313 and I/O). That's why I need to connect via MPI. It is possible to have connection via MPI??? Then you can change your "Adress" -> MPI. Change your PG/PC Interface setting. You use ander the Access Point ...PPI -> This are, if you want to connect to a S7 200! Change this setting to Profibus/MPI ==> Go into your System Setting from your PC I make two screen shots. I think, this could be help. Attachment New.zip (1110 Downloads)
