S-7 power supply

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	Import of a Technical Question of an User CLIFFIE Dear Sir, i am having a problem regarding the power supply PS getting getting switched off & every time the software gets corrupted & need to download it again . Mine doubt is it because the earth or some problem in the bus bar . If so why does the battery no kick off the data when its starts again thanks Cliffie

These CPUs have bay to accomodate a memory card and also it can work without it. You have to download the software every time you startup the CPU or insert a 3.6V batery inside the CPU. I think you have this part of CPUs and you do not have the memory card and battery. Am I right? Regards,

Look at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/7891052 how to load project to MMC. This type of CPU supports max 8Mbyte MMC. Look at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/35000903 which cards are possible to use with ET200 CPU. Regards, Hristo Mihalev
