synchronous motor rewinding

MTBF 402 years means: if you use 402 motors you get a breakdown of 1 motor each 4,02 years statistically. Therefore a necessary rewinding of a synchronous motor will be very unlikely. The effort would be very high to rewindsuch a motor.
