MonShah Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi Friends, I'm using an Analog Module having MLFB No 6ES7 331-1KF01-0AB0. While testing I found some strange counts from the Board. The module wiring has been done as per the Manual. I've connected a Current Source for Channel 1 in the points 2 for +ve and 5 for -ve. In the board 5,10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 are connected to Neutral Earth. While giving 20 mA signal I'm getting counts 27000 but when I give less than 12 mA the counts is fixed at 11000. Can anyone help me in this regard. Is there any configuration changes or something else? Reagards

Definition of the different transducers: 4-wire measuring transducers have a separate power supply and two measuring cables that are connected to M+ and M- of the analog module. For this reason they are also called active measuring transducers. 2-wire measuring transducers are also called passive measuring transducers, because they are normally supplied via the analog module. Please also check the parametration in Hardware Configuration sometimes you confound the SM331 1KF01 and SM331 7KF01.

MonShah Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, Thanx for your valuable information. I'm using a Current source with 4-20 mA range and have Module 3310-1KF01 only. I'm using fc 105 for Scaling. In this when I've selected Unipolar and given 4 mA and I'm getting count of 11000. It is fixed till I'm increasing the current till 12mA. After that it increases to 27000 at 20mA. But my requirement is to get 0 count at 4mA and 27648 at 20 mA. I've made changes in Hardware configuration also and in the module there is nothing like A,B,C,D as other AI modules. What is the problem and how can I solve it? Regards

Sydney Gold Member Joined: 1/4/2008 Last visit: 9/26/2024 Posts: 703 Rating: (96)	Hello, there isn't any range selectoron this module, there is just parameter setting in a HW configuration and you have tomake asensor wiring and connectingaccording to it's type, see the manual in chapter 6.6: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8859629 First check the wiring and HW configuration, then look on input value to be sure you have 4mA=0 and 20mA=27648 and then apply the FC105 "SCALE" for calculating.
