Axis error

rkosir Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hello all, i have a problem in S7T Config. I have two 1fk7022-5ak71-1sh5 motors, on CPU315t-2dp, connected on Sinamics S120-cu320. In TS7 i have added both drives and i am able to move them from the Control panel. Next I added one Axis,which I am not able to move. When I go under the Axis control panel and I click on "Assume Control priorty" button, I get an "Device in incorrect state ISMM:336" error. It states that control is not in STOP mode or it's I/O outputs are not enabled. the PLC is in stop mode when trying this(or is that an reference on another STOP mode?), so i'm guessing that the I/O outputs are faulty set. The text says i go under menu Variable-> Enable PI, but i can not find this menu nor in S7T config, STEP7 or any other applications. What is to be done here,is my Axis configuration wrong,my drive configuration or one completly different thing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards, Rok

Hello Rok The STOP is the STOP of the CPU, e.g. by setting the Run-Stop-switch to stop. To enable the outputs (in STOP-Mode) you have to open a variable table (insert a variable table in blocks folder an open it), then you will find the menu items variable- > enable pheripherial outputs Please note, there are two control panels, one is the drive control panel, controlling "only" the drive/inverter, the other is the axis control panel, here the T-CPU is involved. The drives/inverters must be parametrated (and optimized) bevor you start to setup the axis. Can you post your program?

rkosir Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hello again. We did manage to enter the control panel of the axis, however controling it via S7T config was still unavailable to us. But this is not important as we did manage to get MC_MoveVelocity block working and the system started to move. A big breakthrough for us considering the effort we put in. However, we did set the axis to only Speed control and we need positioning control also. The solution for this setting is still eluding us. It may be because we do not have 2 heidenhain encoders connected to our system yet(we only have 2 resolvers connected to the motors). Could this be the cause why positioning isn't functioning yet? At this stage i do not have a program to copy here, as we can't add axis in speed and positioning mode to our system without an error in S7T config. Considering that speed control mode on axis is working,so I assume that drives are correctly set.

The solution for this setting is still eluding us. This is made to reduce the calculating time/CPU load. The synchronous controll includes positioning and speed control, prositioning control includes speed control. Syncrounous control is used fpr gear camsynchonous operations with two or more axis. Positioning allows the independent positionng of axis, one axis does not influence others. Speed control allows only speed control. If you only need this, you do need a T-CPU!

Could this be the cause why positioning isn't functioning yet? No, this should work fine.. Maybe you selected a telegram, that can not transfer encoder data, it's recommended to use Telegram 105. Did you select isochrone mode for the PD-Bus? Did you see this document? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/30119684 Do you use S7-Tecnology our Scout?
