Black Clips at the rear of cards to connect modules

The are used at the rear of the card and are like a 'U' shape and usually black in colour. We have misplaced some and need to order some more (if you can that is! ) I would search the net but do not know the exactname for them! Many Thanks. Attachment DSC00017.JPG (191 Downloads)

Any way, let me recommend something to you. First of all I do not know what do you do and how much modules you use in a year but If Iam in your place I won't get more back connectors with 5GBP/each! I will get another module; let's say another DI/DO module, and it will come with its back plane. I will tell you why. If you need to change any module as a spare part, you do not have to change the back plane. Then you will have one back plane / each module you change. If you have a redundant system and In case you are working with RED-BUNDLE, you will not use the backplanes at all, you will use active bus units and then you will have many. As I told you, I do not know what do you do but In case you have an opertunity for using spares or redundancy in I/Os; Do not order this item; Just buy another module. I know it's only 5GBP. But it's a way of thinking!

The problem is we need the clips as its just for a small test rig and we are not providing the hardware for this system so cannot order redundant I/O etc due to high cost. it is a good way of thinking though I do agree. Thank you!
