The rated current of the powe supply depends on the consumption and its load. You may need feed the CPU and some I/O module from the same power supply. Then you have to calculate the consumption to select the optimum power supply. The Siemens 24VDC power supplies available in ranges of 2A, 2.5A, 5A, 10A, 20A & 40A. Regards,
