Damha Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	If i am not wrong, FM 350-2 is counter module, which purpose as high speed counter (for example), not for pulse output. And frequency of digital output of FM350-2 max is 500 Hz. Am i right? So what about pulse output?

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	Right - 500Hz is maximum. Take a look on 6ES7352-5AH00-0AE0 - think it would fit. But really i think it's not optimal (i mean maybe there are special solutions)....

I think that you will mount some positioning application, and need a pulse modulation to generate the reference to the driver. right? In this case I suggest you to check the possibility of the use of a FM 353 +FMSTEPDRIVE(for stepper motors) or a FM354 (for servor motors). Else, an alternative would be a FM 352-5 high speed Boolean processor (for general uses, howeverneeds a "good"user programm solution).
