When I am accessing this controller without inserting the memory card through MPI port in "accessible nodes", it is coming. But when I access it with 128KB memory card inserted in it, it is not showing in the "accessible modes". Also, without the memory card the stop LED is continuously glowing but with the memory card, the stop LED is blinking. What could be the reason?

So please use USB-Prommer or Field PG or to delete data on Memory Card or use an empty Card. Reset PLC to factory Settings with empty card and then it should work. Regards, Towome

I tried to reset the memory card by the MRES on the controller. But it seems that the memory card is still not reset. I don't have field PG available with me. Kindly suggest how to proceed further.

For correct functionality of CPU, MMC is required so it doesnt matter what it shows without MMC, is waste of time. You need have better clear other/new MMC, insert it inside CPU, do reset with key/switch and download your HW/SW cfg inside CPU, eventually inside MMC as option with Download option inside Step7. I don't know what exactly Step7 version you're use but firmware v2.0 isn't supported by TIA portal. I recommend check your CPU family system manual to be familiar with how reset CPU, RESET of MMC as clear/delete or solve inconsistent data on it and other similar problems. Simply pls understand, if you put MMC inside CPU and it turns ON, all cfg from MMC will be transfered to CPU (basically said) and in case of wrong cfg you can not access CPU in this case, therefore reset (clear correct delete procedure) of MMC is required. Pay attention to maybe do backup of MMC data before procedure, is up to you what you will do.
