CP1616 is out/crashed,..., for ever ????

bLauret Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi all, after a problem during configuration transfert from Step 7 (5.4 sp2), my CP1616 is OFF. More details: -CP1616 is configured as controller with 2 devices (ET200S). - SF led is lit (ON) - BF led is blinking - I can't ping the CP1616 when I start any software under my Linux RTAI I have the status 0x30D (PNIO_ERR_CONFIG_IN_UPDATE) If I try to change the firmware with SIMATIC NET firmware - Loader through ISO protocol, an error occur : action is Deleting old firmware. I use the Mac addressprinted on the CP1616. I don't use MAc address +1 because I have no answer on the cable (see with Wireshark) Who can help me?

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I am not sure, but there are 2 ways I know of to reset the CP. 1. You shut down the PC completely. You unplug the Power... wait for some time, maybe 30 min, plug the power back on again and boot up once again. 2. There is a Program in the dev. Kit that resets the CP internally. I do not have the name for this Program handy... but I know that it should be mentioned in the dev. Kit manual. I hope I could help you a bit. Best regards J_Bell
