Diagnostic Buffer in CPU 416-3 DP

Racartapo Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Please Help, I have Blow Molding machine running with CPU 416-3 DP (two Profibus Networks, critical and standard), this was running great for long time. But now I have the machine running for 20 minutes and then the CPU sees a fault at the DP Slave ID 4 which is a IM151-1 HF (ET200S - 6ES7 151-1BA00-0AB0) thas has like 21 slaves at the rack. The Diagnostic Buffer (attached) always reports the same problem with OB122 and make reference to some address related to the modules attached to this ET200S ID=4. I already changed the ET200S once, I already replaced almost all modules (attached is the Hardware configuration for this machine) attached to this ET200S, replaced the Profibus Connector, replaced the Profibus cable, it is the same PLC Program without any modification and still happening the problem every 15 or 20 minutes. If some body can help me in this, looking the information that I am attaching, I really will appreciate. I am burned out and I can not find a solution for now. Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi Racartapo, Because the diagnostic buffer is directly over flooding with error messages that are not the real problem you may never find anything. When you look into the hardware configuration of the CPU you can choose to call OB85 only for incoming and outgoing errors.... Please choose that and delete OB122/121 from the CPU so that you may see the error that is coming as first. With which Baudrate are you working, if it is a higher one (i.e. 12 Mbit/s) then you may have with short cabling of the Profibus in the direct neighborhoud of the affected slave trouble with reflection-mountains (as called). So if that is the way, please extend some length or place the Baudrate one lower to detect if that is the way (if of course desireable).
