Hello everybody, if you looking for a PC to plug your Visionscape Board in, you can use the PC configurator in the Siemens Mall. There are three types of housings you can choose from. Rack PC (housing that fits into your electrical cabinet), Box PC (also to mount into the electrical cabinet) and the Panel PC (a housing with a sreen mounted in the front). Each of those housings have there own configuration system. Rack PC In case of using a Rack PC you don't have think about place for the Visionscape Board in the housing. We recommend to use the IL43 with at least 1 GB RAM. If you want to configure a Rack PC take this Link Box PC In case of using a Box PC please take a look into the datasheet and make sure that you can use at least two PCI Ports. The smalest Box PC you can use is called Box PC 627. To configure a Box PC take this Link Panel PC If you want to use a Panel PC there is the same Problem as with a Box PC. To plug a Visionscape Board, you need at least two PCI Ports. So the smalest housing that can be used is the Panel PC 677. To configure a Panel PC use this Link Using a VisionScape 4X00 Board A 4X00 board can only be pluged into a Rack PC IL43! Greetings Kurt |
